Digital Drawing - Bunny Cottontail

 In this assignment we were asked to create our own cartoon character which must be an animal with fur...so I choose rabbit as my character then I took various kind of references and with help of our sir I was able to come up with a dynamic pose for the character. 

Then I Started with Rough Sketch and then i painted it with the mixture of grey, white and black that was value painting.
 It gave an idea as to where the light was coming from. 

After that base paint was done. 
That consisted of the basic colors of the character. 

Then the main base painting with light and shadow effects to give the character a 3-D effect. 

And finally fur. The areas of the character which required fur was painted on with separate fur brushes. 

Thus, my rabbit who was a forest officer was formed.
